MOPS

Mothers of Preschoolers
What is MOPS?

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS is a non-denominational Christian organization open to all mothers with children under school age. The goal of MOPS is to provide a nurturing environment where you can come to find fellowship, friendship, knowledge, and most importantly, renewal for your spirit and soul.

Meeting Options: We meet bi-monthly, September to May, the 1st and 3rd Mondays, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Chippewa. The morning session runs from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM and the evening session from 6 PM to 8 PM. The evening group is both MOPS and MOMSnext (Moms with school age children). Each group provides childcare for your “Moppet” in the classrooms downstairs, so you can get a little break, and the children get playtime with others. We have breakfast or dinner at every meeting and then take time to do an activity, a craft, listen to a guest speaker, perform community outreach or just have fun playing games and chatting with other moms.

The night group is changing things a bit this year, they will have one traditional meeting on the 1st Monday of the month at the church with childcare. The 3rd Monday of the month will be an activity or outing, done off site without childcare, like a Mom’s Night Out.

Membership Fees: Your first meeting is always FREE, no commitments, just check us out! The international MOPS membership fee is $24.95 a year and each meeting is $5 or $60 for the whole year.
